The shooting in early June left 38-year-old Jamal Edwards dead
Police have arrested one man and are searching for two others in connection to a fatal shooting in Brampton.
Officers originally responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Sandalwood Parkway West and Crown Victoria Drive around 7:10 p.m. on June 4, according to a news release.
Peel police said a person was shot near Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
A shooting inside a vehicle in April left two people seriously injured.
At least two men fled the scene in black clothing, police say.
Two men from the GTA have been charged with first degree murder.
The arrest was made in an incident dating back to April 2026, in which two victims were seriously injured.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in a home in the area of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Brent Tree Court around 4:35 a.m.
