A 35-year-old man in Ramanathapuram was booked for sexually assaulting a mentally challenged woman at Devipattinam here on Friday. Police said, T. Vijayakumar, 35, of Devipattinam, sexually assaulted a 19-year-old mentally challenged woman while she was alone at home. When the victim’s mother returned, the accused escaped from the house and ran away.
