The Athens International Airport lounge is found to be second best among more than 70 lounges around the world, a new survey by Capital on Tap has shown.

The international business credit card company analyzed 74 airport lounges for the number of amenities available, how many hours they are open each week and whether they allowed worn-out travelers the comfort of no dress code.

This was combined with their Priority Pass member rating, weighted more heavily – recognizing the importance of client satisfaction.

Scoring 8.19 out of 10, AIA’s Goldair Handling Lounge Extra ranked second, alongside the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at the Harry Reid International Airport – Las Vegas, trailing only the Vienna Lounge at the Vienna International Airport in Austria (8.73/10). Istanbul Airport IGA Lounge International followed with 7.94/10.
