TotalEnergies aims to launch production from the Tilenga oil field in Uganda by the end of the year and to reach its peak of around 190,000 barrels per day by mid-2027, CEO Patrick Pouyanne told analysts Thursday after the company announced its second-half results. “We are, I would say, in the last six months of development,” he said, adding that the smaller Kingfisher field, operated by China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), with a targeted plateau of 40,000 b/d, is set to come on stream in September.
