Odos will shut down all services permanently on July 30, the DEX aggregator's operating company said Thursday, ending a four-year run in which it routed more than $104 billion in trades.
"To the Odos community: after much consideration, the operating company behind Odos is winding down its operations," the team wrote on X. "The app moves to read-only on July 27, and all Odos services shut down permanently on July 30, 2026. Odos is non-custodial: your assets remain yours and on-chain."
The team gave no reason for the shutdown. New signups, wallet creation, and limit orders were disabled with the announcement; swaps keep working until the app goes read-only on July 27. Users who created wallets through social or email logins must transfer assets or export their private keys before the deadline — everyone else's funds sit onchain under their own control.
The ODOS token, which launched in December 2024 with an airdrop to 494,278 addresses, is unaffected onchain, and the Odos DAO operates separately from the company, the team said, warning that any token migration, claim, or airdrop offers circulating after the shutdown are scams.
ODOS trades at $0.001, per CoinGecko, down 98% from its all-time high set the day after launch, with a $1.6 million market cap. The shutdown news barely moved it: down 1.4% in 24 hours.
