LUCENA CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the Calabarzon region is continuing the validation of more than 27,000 families identified as potential beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
“These families were identified as poor based on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) of the Philippine Statistics Authority,” the DSWD Field Office in Region IV-A said in a report released Friday (July 24).
As part of the validation process, social workers assess the families’ current living conditions, including their vulnerabilities and circumstances, to determine whether they qualify for inclusion in the program.
