Senior advocates Shyam Divan and Gopal Sankaranarayanan urged the court to take up the petitions, informing the bench that both pleas had been filed and numbered by the Supreme Court registry.Accepting the request, the bench posted the matter for hearing on July 27.The petitions come amid nationwide protests by students demanding accountability over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak.A major protest march in Delhi on July 20 turned violent after demonstrators clashed with security personnel while attempting to march towards Parliament.
