They delivered the day's biggest headlines from across the UK and around the world, including Edinburgh's new tourist tax.‌But as the live show continued on ITV1, a number of viewers noticed that it had disabled all comments on its X (formerly Twitter) videos.‌The only video that allowed viewers to share their thoughts was a clip of the hosts discussing the concept of "picky bits" with Andi Peters.Viewers were quick to share their frustration in the comments, with one person writing: "@gmb stopping people from commenting on posts. Absolutely pathetic but expected."Content cannot be displayed without consent‌Another asked: "Why are comments turned off on recent posts?"A third said: "Allow comments on all or close this account!! We are allowed an opinion on breakfast but not on the PM working outside of No.10!!"Someone else commented: "So GMB is restricting the public from commenting on their posts! The whole point of X is that it's interactive and allows people to give their feedback on your programme. I suspect you haven't appreciated the comments, so you've censored them. That's as pathetic as it is ridiculous."‌During the video on X, Kate revealed that she loves scotch eggs, before Andi went through the selection of snacks on the desk, including quiche lorraine, small sausage rolls, and crisps.Other fans praised the show and video in particular, writing: "So funny, that is what we want in the morning." Another added, "Kate, I love how you're embracing your morning vibes. Keep slaying."The Mirror has reached out to GMB representatives for comment.‌Elsewhere on today's GMB, Kate was forced to intervene during a live interview with Jane Meagher, the Leader of the City of Edinburgh Council.After noticing a man making the reverse peace sign behind Jane on the streets of Edinburgh, the host set the record straight.Article continues below"Just to say, Jane, you won't be aware because you were talking so elegantly to us with the gorgeous vision of Edinburgh behind," Kate said."But somebody came past doing a rather rude gesture.
