However, regular weather stars Laura Tobin and Alex Beresford were not available.Instead, Chris Page was on hand to share the latest meteorological updates live from the central London studio.During the show, Richard said: "We've got a new weather guy today! If you are in the Anglia region, you'll know him - he's been doing it for years there. But he's got up very, very early and he's come all the way down from Norwich. Here's Chris with the weather."Chris began: "Hello there. Yes, a very good morning to you. We started first thing this morning with some patchy amounts of cloud and also some outbreaks of rain in the north and west."During the forecast, Chris revealed that it's going to turn hot once again in the southern half of the country, with temperatures possibly reaching the mid 30s. It is set to get cooler by the weekend, with outbreaks of rain nudging their way to the north.GMB viewers were delighted to see Chris appearing on the show, with one X (formerly Twitter) user writing: "@ChrisPage90 nice to see you present the weather report just now on @gmb @itvnews you look very dapper in your suit."Another added: "How refreshing! A new weather reporter with a vast vocabulary."A third said: "We love this new weather reporter, he's got the likability," with someone else commenting: "Nice to see @ChrisPage90 get the big job this morning."Chris is based in the East of England, where he was born and raised in Norwich. He graduated from the University of Reading in 2011 with a Physical Geography degree, before qualifying as a meteorologist at the Met Office.He learnt how to forecast for a number of industries before focusing on public weather and the media. He currently presents the weather for ITV regional news, primarily ITV Anglia, after joining the broadcaster back in 2017.During his time at ITV, Chris has forecast the weather for a number of important events, including the Beast from the East in 2018.Article continues belowAccording to the star's official website, when he isn't in front of the camera, Chris "treasures spending quality time with his family and friends".Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
