The judgment could also become a landmark constitutional moment, as suspending Parliament's Section 89 impeachment inquiry could amount to judicial interference in Parliament's constitutional oversight role, analysts said.
The Western Cape High Court is expected to hand down judgment at 10am on Ramaphosa's application to interdict the Section 89 committee probing the Phala Phala scandal.
The urgent application was heard last Wednesday and Thursday by a full bench comprising Judges André le Grange, Matthew Francis and Diane Davis.
