Sharon AI, the hot artificial intelligence technology start-up angling for an Australian sharemarket debut, is building out its management team with executives poached from Macquarie and Spark New Zealand.

The company, chaired by former Telstra chief executive Andy Penn, is already listed on the Nasdaq with a market capitalisation of $US2.5 billion ($3.6 billion), but is working with Canaccord Genuity and Macquarie on an ASX float which is estimated to be worth around $600 million.
