“Daily Show” correspondent Desi Lydic belittled President Donald Trump’s performance at a rally in Georgia for U.S. Senate candidate Mike Collins on Wednesday, saying the 80-year-old leader seems to have lost some of his trademark showmanship. “By the way, after 10 years of Trump rallies, you can kinda tell that he’s not moving crowds like he used to,” she said. Lydic played a montage of attendees yawning and seemingly ignoring the president as he spoke. “They were bored, not even looking at him. This one kid was just on his phone half the time. Hey, kid, stop playing Roblox. The president is talking about affordability,” Lydic said. She then suggested that Trump needs to win their attention back with one of his snappy nicknames, like “Sleepy Joe Biden” or “Crooked Hillary.”“We will pass the Great Healthcare Plan. It’s called our Great Healthcare Plan. That’s the name of it,” Trump said.“Wow, thanks for putting in all that thought. Such a lazy name. That’s like making a daily show and calling it ‘The Daily Show,’” Lydic said.
