Desi Lydic of “The Daily Show” broke down the tediousness of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Wednesday. (Watch the video below.)
Or shall we say “excruciatingly tedious,” as HuffPost’s headlined blared after the president delivered the longest State of the Union screed in history.
The host had her own ideas of just how boring Tuesday’s oration was.
“It didn’t feel long. It felt endless,” Lydic said. “That’s because I wasn’t sleeping through it, unlike some people.”
She cut to snippets of Reps. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.) and David Scott (D-Ga.) getting some shut-eye as Trump bloviated.
