The European{BLACK TEXT} Commission has approved the proposal to amend the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for Greece (“Greece 2.0”) in the framework of the final implementation phase of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
According to the Finance Ministry on Thursday, the European Commission’s approval confirms the reasoned planning of the Greek proposal – which also conforms to the Commission’s directives on concluding the Recovery and Resilience Plan – and opens the way to its final approval by the European Council.
The basic aim of the amendment is to finalize the milestones of the Greek plan, ensuring the full and effective utilization of the available European funds to the benefit of the economy and society, the ministry said.
The proposal includes amendments that take into account progress in implementing the projects and reforms, as well as targeted redistribution of funding, but with no change in the plan’s total funding framework.
