A legal practitioner and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke (SAN), on Thursday expressed assurance that the ongoing internal wrangling in the party in the state would be resolved before the 2027 general election.

The ongoing crisis in the party began after some aspirants earlier announced the winners of the senatorial and House of Representatives primaries, sued the party for allegedly removing their names from the list of candidates submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by the National Working Committee of the APC.

One of the aggrieved aspirants, Mr Razak Obe, on Arise TV, declared that the crisis may affect the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election in the state.

‎“If you say go to elections today in the state, I don’t fear for other people who are playing these games, but for the President himself.

“In Ondo State, he had 67 per cent of our votes in the last election, the highest in the country.
