UPDATED: “Avatar: Seven Havens” has an official premiere date at Paramount+. And what a date it is.
The new entry in the “Avatar” franchise will debut on Oct. 9 on the streaming service. That date should stick out to fans, as it was originally the date set for the premiere of the movie “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender,” before that release was moved up to July 25 after the movie leaked online earlier this year.
Like past “Avatar” shows, “Seven Havens” is divided into two “books” comprised of 13 episodes each.
Note: An earlier version of this story stated that “Seven Havens” would release all 26 episodes at once. An individual with knowledge of the situation has said that the exact rollout is still being determined.
