Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said more stringent measures against examination paper leaks will be taken up at Wednesday's Cabinet meeting, in a video posted on his Instagram account.This is the second time in two days that the PM has addressed the issue amid ongoing student protests over paper leaks.Speaking at a national conference on youth welfare, Modi said the future of students is the country's greatest asset and that strict legal action will be taken against those who try to ruin it. The Centre has decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift trial and stringent punishment of those involved in paper leak cases, he said."Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth," Modi said, adding that no pardon will be given to those behind the leaks. He said such incidents undermine the credibility of recruitment and examination systems and shatter the aspirations of millions of candidates, and that the fast-track courts would speed up the judicial process so offenders are punished without delay.
