The Denza Z9GT - China's new high-performance electric car offering unrivalled charging speeds - will cost £105,000, it has been confirmed.Order books for the groundbreaking EV have opened today, with first deliveries to UK customers expected before the end of the year.The Z9GT is not only the first model under the Denza banner - which is owned by EV giant BYD - to launch in European and UK markets, it's also the brand's flagship, brimming with the latest cutting-edge tech.Using its parent company's second-generation Blade battery pack - with a 122kWh capacity - and BYD's soon-to-be-installed network of 1,500kW 'Flash Chargers', it can be taken from a 10 per cent state of charge to 70 per cent in just five minutes.This means owners will be able to add around 224 miles of range in the time it takes to buy a coffee and use the restroom at a service station.In comparison, the fastest-charging Teslas using the brand's 500kW Superchargers take three times longer to provide an additional 200 miles of driving range.But the 'shooting brake' - a term given to coupe-style estate cars - isn't just about rapid charging speeds; it's outrageously fast on the road too.The EV packs a formidable 1,140bhp, which is more than the Ferrari 12Cilindri V12 (819bhp) and the Porsche 911 Turbo S (760bhp).
