What happened with the Garcia deal
Fulham initiated negotiations with Real Madrid in mid-to-late July 2026, targeting Garcia as a replacement following Raul Jimenez’s departure. The timing made sense: Garcia is a center-forward with top-tier academy pedigree, and Arbeloa, who previously mentored the player at Real Madrid, was personally involved in the discussions.
Garcia was born on March 24, 2004, in Madrid and joined Real Madrid’s first team in 2025. His current market value sits at roughly €30 million, and his contract runs through June 2030.
