Sensei and Branch Chief Malcolm Naude

A Cape Town karate instructor has been honoured for his decades-long commitment to Ashihara Karate after representing South Africa at an international anniversary celebration and training seminar in Romania.

Sensei Malcolm Naude, a fourth Dan black belt and branch chief of Ashihara Karate Kaikan Cape Town, attended the organisation’s 40th anniversary celebration and international seminar in Brașov from July 9 to 12.

He was accompanied by Senpei Jade Stevens, a first Dan black belt from Cape Town.

The international gathering was hosted by Romanian martial artist Shihandai Nicu Dascalu and attended by karate practitioners and instructors from several countries.
