Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is the latest of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children seeking to legally remove Pitt from her surname.
According to court papers, Vivienne has filed a petition with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, July 20, to legally change her name from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
She listed the reason for the name change as “personal”, and her hearing is scheduled for November 2.
For some time now, Vivienne has been professionally using the Jolie surname only. In 2024, she was listed as only Vivienne Jolie in the playbill credits of Broadway’s show “The Outsiders” that she helped produce alongside her mom.
