Tasnim News Agency reported early on Thursday, July 23, that multiple explosions had been heard minutes earlier in the vicinity of Ziarat village in Sirik County. State broadcaster IRIB similarly reported hearing several explosions in the Bamani district and around Ziarat village in Sirik County.

In a separate development, Fars News Agency quoted the Deputy Governor of Khuzestan for Security and Political Affairs as confirming that a location near the city of Ahvaz had been targeted in a U.S. missile strike.

At the same time, the Vahid Online Telegram channel quoted readers who reported explosions in Ahvaz, followed by similar reports from Ramshir, Mahshahr, and Sarbandar.

According to the posted messages, several residents reported one or two powerful explosions between 12:08 AM and 12:10 AM in Ahvaz, with some noting that they felt vibrations caused by the blasts. As of the time of publication, further details regarding the cause of the explosions or potential damage had not been released.
