According to the statement, titled "While Osun APC Is Busy Promoting Violence, ACCORD Continues to Welcome More APC Defectors Across Osun State," the campaign said it remained confident of Governor Adeleke's chances of winning the August 15 governorship election.
With weeks to the August 15 governorship election in Osun State, the Imole Campaign Council (TICC), the campaign organisation for Governor Ademola Adeleke, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of resorting to violence and allegedly terrorising residents as political activities intensify across the state.
The allegations were contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the spokesperson of the Imole Campaign Council, Pelumi Olajengbe, Esq., who maintained that Governor Adeleke remained the preferred choice of the electorate and attributed the confidence of the campaign to what it described as the increasing defection of APC members to the Accord.

"The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has reiterated its confidence in the chance of Governor Ademola Adeleke winning the August 15 governorship election in Osun state, noting that the daily influx of members of the APC into the Accord is a pointer to where the people stand as far as the upcoming election is concerned," the statement said.
