The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign Council has again tackled Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration, demanding that he immediately call his alleged political thugs to order before the state descends into lawlessness.
In a statement signed by Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, Head of the Media and Publicity Committee, the opposition party accused the ruling party of fostering a systematic culture of intimidation, harassment, and bloody violence aimed directly at innocent citizens and supporters of the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
The campaign council alleged that the escalating state-sponsored insecurity threatens to render Osun entirely ungovernable ahead of the upcoming election.
The APC detailed a series of coordinated assaults that took place on Tuesday morning, June 9, 2026, in the Owode-Ede axis—a region inside Governor Adeleke’s home local government area.
