Lower provisions, operating profit recovery HelpMUMBAI: IndusInd Bank reported a net profit of Rs 1,037 crore for the quarter ended June 30, up 72% from Rs 604 crore a year ago. Net interest income (NII) stood at Rs 4,685 crore for the current quarter, compared with Rs 4,640 crore in the year-ago period, a y-o-y increase of 1%. The loan book decreased 2% y-o-y to Rs 3,26,274 crore. On the liability side, total deposits grew 4% y-o-y to Rs 4,14,766 crore. Total income fell by 5% y-o-y to Rs 6,471 crore from Rs 6,797 crore in Q1FY26. Operating expenses fell 13% y-o-y, improving operating profitability despite lower total income, while provisions fell 21% y-o-y.
