SpaceXAI is in talks to build a large data center in Texas.
The Information reports that the SpaceX subsidiary has explored several sites in the state and aims to deploy compute at a similar or greater scale to its gigawatt Memphis/Mississippi data centers.

The company has yet to decide if it will deploy multiple facilities, and whether it will build from scratch or retrofit an existing warehouse.
SpaceXAI has hired for a data center development lead in Austin and Bastrop, Texas, and temporary roles to support its “data center construction, expansion, and operations” in locations including Conroe, Texas.
