For one, it now comes with a $100 price increase which places it closer to flagships like the $1,199 iPhone 17 Pro Max and the $1,299 Galaxy S26 Ultra, which offers a more robust camera system, a larger battery, and more productivity features. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 feels more like a simple, iterative upgrade than it does a groundbreaking phone.That said, there are many things Samsung got right with this phone. In our Galaxy Z Flip 8 review, we called it Samsung's sleekest and most refined flip phone to date. We also feel its a great phone for vlogging than either the Z Fold 8 or Z Fold 8 Ultra.
