Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India as part of its latest foldable smartphone lineup, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and new Galaxy Watch models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at Rs 1,79,999 and brings a lighter design, upgraded display, AI features, improved cameras and enhanced performance. The smartphone will be available in three storage variants, with sales starting from August 7. The foldable phone also includes a 5.5-inch cover display, allowing users to access apps and notifications without unfolding the device. Samsung has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 its lightest Fold smartphone, weighing 201 grams. When unfolded, the device measures 4.5mm in thickness, offering a slimmer design compared with earlier models. Both displays support Vision Booster technology for improved visibility in different lighting conditions.
