CrowdStrike and Cerebras Systems are teaming up to tackle one of the fastest-growing problems in enterprise tech: securing AI infrastructure before attackers figure out how to exploit it. The partnership, announced on July 22, pairs CrowdStrike’s Falcon AI Detection and Response platform with Cerebras’ high-speed inference hardware.

The deal works in both directions. CrowdStrike will deploy its Falcon AIDR models on Cerebras’ chips to accelerate threat detection, while Cerebras will standardize on the Falcon platform to shore up its own cybersecurity posture.

Why speed matters in AI security

Cerebras CISO Naor Penso put it simply: “every millisecond matters” in AI security. That’s not hyperbole when you’re talking about protecting prompt layers, AI agents, data pipelines, and identity management systems, all of which are attack surfaces that didn’t meaningfully exist five years ago.

CrowdStrike’s Falcon AIDR platform, which reached general availability on December 15, 2025, was built specifically to address these emerging vectors. Running those models on Cerebras’ inference-optimized hardware should meaningfully reduce the latency between detection and response. CrowdStrike CBO Daniel Bernard framed the partnership as combining “the world’s best security AI and the world’s fastest inference.”
