Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Wistron has opened its $700 million manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, where the company will build Nvidia AI servers.
The 324,000 sq ft (30,101 sqm) D1 factory is already producing Nvidia GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchips and will begin producing Nvidia Vera Rubin Superchips at a later date.

In a statement, Nvidia said that D1 would be scaling up this year to produce tens of thousands of boards per month of the “most advanced technology in the industry,” adding that so far, the facility had created more than 500 new jobs, with plans to expand to 1,000 by the end of 2026.
The factory forms part of Nvidia’s pledge to invest up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the US by the end of the decade, the chip giant said. In April 2025, Nvidia announced it was working with its manufacturing partners, including Wistron, to commission more than a million square feet of manufacturing space to build and test its hardware.
