The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the operational command centre of Iran’s Armed Forces, has issued a stark warning in response to Donald Trump’s threat to strike the “Kuh-e Kolang” underground facility near Natanz. Tehran declared that any American assault on the complex would be treated as “expanding the war across the region,” warning that “all U.S. interests, as well as those of its allies and supporters,” would become targetable.
In an official statement, the Khatam Headquarters declared: “Should the aggressor and terrorist U.S. military enter such a phase, we will consider it an expansion of the war in the region, and all interests of the United States, its allies, and supporters of that rogue, evil state will face a powerful strike by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
This warning came hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States would “probably soon” target the underground “Kuh-e Kolang-e Gazla” complex near the Natanz nuclear site. Trump had previously noted that Washington was closely monitoring the location and hinted at a potential “big shot” at the facility.
Simultaneously, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing that the U.S. military possessed the capability to strike the deeply buried site, though he declined to outline specific operational details. Hegseth emphasised: “If any country in the world can reach any point on Earth, it is the United States military, the most powerful military in the world.”
