Away from the workshop and TV sets, though, who is his well-known daughter? And what family heartbreak did he go through? Here’s everything you need to know about Steve Fletcher.‌Steve's famous sisterSteve is known as the brother of fellow Repair Shop star Suzie, the show's leather expert. Suzie paid tribute to her brother and spoke out about how he supported her following the loss of her husband, who died from cancer.She previously said: "Every time [Steve] called he looked to be having such a good time I jokingly said, 'If they need anyone to do leather I'm your gal'.‌“I really was joking, but after several phone calls and a lot of reassurance from Steve, I agreed to give it a go and joined the team."I'm so happy I did as this is one of the most enjoyable things I've ever been involved with and it's also helped me through some very dark days."Steve's partner, Mel‌Steven is in a long-term relationship with partner Mel, with whom he lives in Witney, Oxfordshire. As well as being in a relationship with Mel, Steve is also the dad to five children.These include son Fred and four daughters, Amelia, Milly, and another whose name hasn’t been shared publicly. His son Fred has followed in his footsteps and is now a junior watchmaker.‌Meanwhile, Amelia is a social media influencer who boasts just over 70k followers on Instagram. The clock workshop was originally established by Steve's grandfather, Fred, who passed it on to his father, John.
