A fight involving foundation students at the National University of Samoa (NUS) was captured on video and circulated on social media after the incident broke out near the Samoan fale at the rear of the Lepapaigalala campus last Friday.
Another confrontation was reported on Tuesday, with students telling the Samoa Observer they hoped the incidents would be addressed before further clashes occurred.
The Samoa Observer visited the NUS campus, where several students said the fight involved more than one individual and was not an isolated incident.
"It is not only one person involved in this matter, and there is a chance it could happen again," one student said.
Another student said similar conflicts among students had occurred over the years and believed the issue needed to be properly addressed.
