The Nissan Qashqai is one of the vehicles being recalled by the NCC.

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has confirmed the product recall of certain Qashqai Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) models, Toyota Land Cruiser 300, and Lexus LX600 as notified by the respective suppliers.

According to the NCC’s spokesperson, Pheto Ntaba, the affected vehicles were sold through authorised Nissan and Toyota dealerships across the country.

Nissan is recalling 314 vehicles. Nissan is recalling three hundred and fourteen (314) units. This recall forms part of the recall announced on October 23, 2025, where Nissan recalled 1,688 vehicles.

“According to Nissan, there is potential for movement of the fuel pipe within its retaining clip in the engine bay when the engine is in operation. This movement may lead to wear on the fuel pipe. It is possible for wear to cause a perforation in the fuel pipe, resulting in a potential fuel leak,” Ntaba said.
