Chery South Africa is launching the fully electric Chery Q hatchback in September.
Chery South Africa is set to launch the fully electric Chery Q in early September, with pricing starting from R350 000.
This puts it up against the Geely E2 Aspire at R339 900, the BYD Dolphin Surf Comfort at R341 900 and the Dongfeng Box E2 430 priced at R349 000.
"The Q has been developed to make electric driving a realistic option for more South Africans," said Verene Petersen, national marketing and communications manager at Chery South Africa.
"Its compact dimensions make it well suited to the city, but it still offers the space, range and everyday practicality buyers expect from their primary vehicle."
