The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Wednesday urged activist Wangchuk to end his hunger strike, saying his life was too valuable to be put at further risk.“We request @Wangchuk66 sir to end his hunger strike. They invited us to his residence, but we categorically declined. We are not going to anyone's house or office,” Das said.Calling the protest venue a "janata darbar", Das said government representatives should come to Jantar Mantar if they wanted to hold discussions.“The discussion should take place at Jantar Mantar,” he said.
