If they're not, then we will do what's necessary to protect our interests, and also the interests of our allies," Rubio said in remarks in a meeting with Southeast Asian counterparts in Manila, who have expressed serious concern about the renewed hostilities.U.S. completes 11th consecutive evening of strikes against IranThe U.S. military said it has completed its 11th consecutive day of strikes on Iran.U.S. Central Command said the strikes targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities and military logistics infrastructure. The strikes, CENTCOM said, aimed to "further degrade" Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.CENTCOM said Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting the strait. "The unwarranted attacks have endangered hundreds of innocent mariners and undermined freedom of navigation," it said.Iranian state television had earlier said that air defense activity was heard in western, eastern and northeastern Tehran.Earlier, Iran's top joint military command warned that any U.S. attack on the country's nuclear sites would lead to an "expansion of war" in the region, Iranian state television reported.The Iranian military command added that all U.S. and allied interests across the region would be targeted in response to such an attack. Report: Settlers set fire to Palestinian land in West Bank, shoot at residentsSettlers set fire to land on the outskirts of the village of Turmus Ayya in the central West Bank early Wednesday morning, according to a Palestinian report. According to the report, the settlers fired at residents of the village during the attack.Earlier, dozens of Israeli settlers raided the Palestinian village of Jalud in the northern West Bank, setting fires in the area, according to local reports and footage from the area.The settler raid began after IDF soldiers and Border Police forces arrived at the village to open a road to the Tubasi family's house, which settlers have besieged for over two weeks. According to locals, Israeli settlers from nearby outposts blocked the soldiers and police, who retreated from the area.Responding to Haaretz's request for comment, the IDF said soldiers were dispatched to the area.
