Jul 22, 2026 – 5.00amAtlassian chief executive Mike Cannon-Brookes says the software firm’s Sydney skyscraper continues to make economic sense even with its increasingly remote workforce-friendly policies, and redundancies caused by the rise of artificial intelligence earlier this year.The Nasdaq-listed software firm has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in building a 40-storey skyscraper, expected to open in 2028, next to Sydney’s Central Station.
