Tourism Finance Corporation of India’s first quarter (Q1FY27) standalone net profit doubled to ₹61 crore on the back of a healthy growth in net interest income and a robust increase in other income.The non-banking finance company, which lends to the hospitality/tourism and wholesale businesses, recorded a net profit of ₹30.55 crore in the year-ago period.TFCI’s net interest income (difference between interest earned and interest expended) was up 34 per cent yoy at ₹45.96 crore (₹ 34.29 crore in Q1FY26). Other income soared to ₹34.12 crore against ₹2.10 crore in Q1FY26.As at June-end 2026, the company’s gross non-performing assets ratio stood at 0.41 per cent of gross assets, up a shade from 0.24 per cent as at June-end 2025. The net NPA position remains nil, as all stressed have been fully provided for.Published on July 21, 2026
