Applications are now open for the Women Techsters Sprint Program, a new initiative by Tech4Dev designed to help women in Ghana transition from foundational digital skills to industry ready careers in technology.
The launch builds on the momentum of the Women Techsters Ghana Week, a component of the Women Techsters Program. The week featured a series of activities, including an AI masterclass, an employers’ roundtable, and an industry mixer, all designed to empower the next generation of women in technology in Ghana. These activities connected participants of the program and other young women in tech with learning opportunities, industry leaders, mentors, and potential employers, and expanded awareness of AI and digital career opportunities.
Building on this engagement, the Women Techsters Sprint Program offers women with foundational digital skills the opportunity to advance their technical expertise. The program provides specialized training, mentorship, practical projects, and career readiness support. The Sprint is a sub-program of the Women Techsters Program, Africa’s largest women’s technology program, currently implemented across 30 African countries. It is designed to bridge the gender divide within the technology ecosystem through technology training and career support.
