A recent white paper by TransUnion CIBIL classifies credit card users into four personae namely, occasional card users (OCUs), card-centric users (CCUs), diversified credit users (DCUs) and high exposure users (HEUs). OCUs are the least aggressive with low utilisation of credit limit (<10%) and cards are their primary exposure to unsecured credit. CCUs use cards for liquidity and have moderate utilisation (10-75%). DCUs have multiple consumption-based loans alongside cards with moderate utilisation.
