TwinTech Healthcare Services, a unit of TwinTech Institute of Education Trust, Chennai, is expanding comprehensive eye care services for persons living with psychiatric conditions and residents of rehabilitation centres.Over the past year, it has conducted comprehensive eye examinations for more than 1,200 residents across four psychiatric rehabilitation centres identifying uncorrected refractive errors, advanced cataracts, glaucoma suspects, and other eye-related risks.The initiative is now being expanded to reach 1,000 more individuals with psychiatric conditions in Chennai and neighbouring districts. The team is currently conducting comprehensive eye examinations for residents of psychiatric rehabilitation centres in Perambalur district.Doctors - Krishna Kumar and A.
