Summerville joined West Ham in 2024 Julian Finney/Getty ImagesJuly 21, 2026 11:50 am EDT Updated Al Hilal have agreed a deal with West Ham United for the signing of winger Crysencio Summerville.The deal is worth a total package of approximately €80million (£68.23m) and a medical is scheduled ahead of the proposed move to the Saudi Pro League club.A long-term contract for the Netherlands international is also ready, pending the final authorisations being completed.Summerville, 24, has been expected to leave West Ham during the transfer window following their relegation to the Championship last season. The Athletic reported earlier this summer it was expected to cost approximately £50m for West Ham to sanction the winger’s departure.
Roma had made a bid worth €46million (£39.12m; $56.21m) for the Netherlands international this month. Manchester United had enquired about his situation and Aston Villa also expressed an interest.Summerville’s contract at the London Stadium had been due to run until 2029.Summerville was included in the Netherlands’s 26-man squad for the World Cup, despite having only made his debut in a friendly in June. He appeared in four of the team’s matches, recording two goals and two assists, though missed a penalty in the shootout defeat against Morocco in the round of 32.He moved to West Ham from Leeds United in 2024 and has featured 56 times for the east London side.He made 34 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.Mateus Fernandes has already joined Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham this summer in an £85m move, while captain Jarrod Bowen has committed his immediate future to the club by signing a revised contract.
