A 20-year-old B.Tech second-year student of Vasavi Engineering College was found dead in her home in Puppalaguda, with the police recovering a two-page note alleging harassment by a faculty member, college staff and fellow students.According to the Narsingi police, the deceased was found dead at her residence on the intervening night of July 19 and 20.Police said the note indicated that the student, described as being of a sensitive nature, had been under severe mental distress after allegedly being subjected to derogatory remarks by a faculty member during an examination on July 17.
