A 21-year-old student was found dead at a hostel in BN Reddy Nagar on Thursday evening. The Hayathnagar police booked a case.The victim, identified as Anil Kumar, was a second-year student pursuing at Vijaya Research of Para Medical Laboratory in Hayathnagar.According to an officer from Hayathnagar police, Anil Kumar hanged himself in his hostel room using a towel and wire when no one else was present. “His fellow students grew suspicious after he failed to respond and forced open the door, only to find him hanging and unconscious,” said the officer. He was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
