Two tribal children were admitted to a residential school at Valparai in Coimbatore district on Monday, (July 20, 2026), at the initiative of a Singappen Special Team.The team led by Regina Banu had, during an outreach programme at Keezh Poonachi tribal village under the Kadamparai PS limits recently, learnt about the plight of the girl in Class VI and her brother in Class VIII who had dropped out due to poverty after the death of their father.The Singappen team provided the children with clothing and other necessities for their residential education at the school for tribal children.The police team encouraged the children to focus on studies.
