Singer Charli XCX and a number of stars were on the guest list, and in new snaps, musician Matty was seen dipping his wife back while he gave her a kiss.‌Proud parent Denise, best known for her roles in soaps including Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks, and as a Loose Women panellist, has now given some details of the celebrations.‌Posting photos and videos with a group of her friends on Instagram, emotional Denise captioned one: “This weekend was the most magical 3 days of my life!!! I can’t wait to share it with you!”‌Tagging her friends, who included her Corrie co-star Sally Dynevor, she added: “All the aunties together in LA.”At the weekend a statement from the couple’s representatives said: “Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel were married yesterday at a private ceremony in Los Angeles, attended by their family and close friends.”The couple were first linked months after he split from Taylor Swift, whom he dated for a few months in 2023.‌Gabbriette sparked rumours of their engagement after posting a photo of her wearing a large black ring on her ring finger on Instagram in June 2024.‌She wrote: “Marrying The 1975 is very brat.” Healy, who was tagged in the post, also re-posted the photo on his own story.The next day Welch confirmed the news on Loose Women and said: “I obviously have known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged.“They went over to see their friends Charli (XCX) and George (Daniel) in New York…and I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram.”‌She added: “I couldn’t be more thrilled. We couldn’t be happier – she is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law.
