MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed former Albay Rep. Joey Salceda as secretary of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO).

The appointment letter, dated July 20 and signed by Marcos, marks Salceda’s return to the Cabinet after two decades. Salceda last served in the Cabinet in 2007 under then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as presidential chief of staff before the position was abolished.
