MANILA, Philippines – Veteran legislator and former Albay governor Joey Salceda is set to join the Marcos Cabinet as head of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO), Malacañang confirmed Tuesday, July 21.

As chief of the office that bridges the gap between the executive and legislative, Salceda will also hold the rank of secretary. The previous head of the PLLO, Adrian Bersamin, was an undersecretary. Bersamin left his post in November 2025 after he was accused of involvement in flood control corruption.
