The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said no government can guarantee lasting peace, insisting that true peace can only be found in God.
Oyedepo made the remark while ministering at the dedication of Dreamland, Master’s City, the new worship centre of Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State, on Sunday.
His message was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the media unit of Master’s Place International Church.
Speaking on the theme, “Why Do We Dedicate Places of Worship?”, the cleric took his text from Romans 15:4 and explained that church buildings are dedicated because they belong to God.
“God is the owner and builder of His Church. Behind every sanctuary is God, so we are dedicating it to the Owner, because God builds all things. The glory of God will fill His house, and this sanctuary shall be His habitation and house of salvation,” Oyedepo said.
